Seven Ways to Treat Yourself this Weekend

Valentine’s Day is over and the three day weekend is upon us! I don’t know about you but I’m not in the habit of treating myself—whether that be with some alone time, kind words, something sweet (or salty), or a pretty present. Life is busy and sometimes I have a hard time saying no to others and yes to my own needs. But, since it’s the season of love, I figured it was high time I paid a little attention to myself—and you should too! I’ve set aside time this weekend to go get my nails done, get in bed and snuggle up with a good book. Whether you celebrated V-day this past week with your sweetie or with your gals, take a moment in the next few days to wind down and treat yourself…I know I’m going to!

I’ve gathered a few fun finds for you (and me) to check out over the weekend. Enjoy!

Cashmere Socks: You can’t go wrong with socks. The older I get the more I love something soft and snuggly. THESE are the best. Love to wear them around the house and out and about!

Chasing Slow: My sweet boyfriend got me this book for Valentine’s Day. I’ve only read the first chapter and I’m already feeling inspired and convicted. Erin Loechner is real and vulnerable and so easy to relate to. I will probably do a book round-up soon and I’ll be sure to share about this one. In the meantime, can’t wait to keep reading!

Old Navy Blush Bag: I’m not going to lie to you. Growing up my sister and I used to call Old Navy “Old Gravy” because the clothes weren’t cute or trendy or anything I wanted to wear to my 8th grade mixer. BUT! In the last few years, Old Navy has stepped up its game y’all. Love getting my seasonal purses from here because they are great quality for the price! Love love love this bag to transition into spring!

Bando Pin: Bando is my spirit brand. I’m actually obsessed with the bright colors and girlie trinkets. My favorite bit of flair right now are these cutie “I Believe in…” pins. They come in a variety of phrases but this “I Believe in Red Lipstick” is my fave for February.

Anthropologie Cheese Board: I’m a sucker for a nice cheese board. I don’t know, something about laying out cheese and crackers and fruit on a pretty board makes me feel super adult-ish. I have a few boards that I’ve saved on (bought from Home Goods) but I’m probs gonna splurge and get this one for myself soon!

Volcano Candle: I can’t say enough about this candle. I ask for it for every birthday and holiday ever. I have like 4 unused ones right now… They burn forever and smell amazing!

Rifle Paper Company Notebook set: Rifle Paper Company is definitely my go to for pretty notebooks and wrapping paper. Have quite a few journals from them that are filled with hopes and dreams and secrets!
